Shulchan Aruch Orach Chaim, with Be’er Heitev commentary by R. Yehuda Ashkenazi of Tiktin, published for the first time. With many important approbations.
R. Yehuda Ashkenazi (died 1743) served as Dayan in Tiktin. He wrote this commentary, to supplement the original Be’er Heitev authored by R. Yeshaya (grandson of the TaZ) published in Amsterdam in 1708. This commentary was warmly received and is printed in most editions of the Shulchan Aruch, and until today many learn Shulchan Aruch- Be’er Heitev.
