Sefer Kesubah, which is the first section of the Sefer Haflo’ah, (the second being the Sefer Ha’Makneh) novella on Maseches and Hilchos Kesubos, by R. Pinchos HaLevy Horowitz.
R. Pinchos Ha’Levy Horowitz (1730- 1805), was one of the most prominent disciples of the Maggid of Mezritch. He served as Rav in various communities including Vitkova, Lechowitz and most notably Frankfurt. He was renowned as a great Rav and Posek as well as a prolific writer and is often referred to as “The Haflo’ah” after his work on Maseches Kesubos. He had many distinguished talmidim, most notably the Chasam Sofer.
