R. Dovid Schapiro (1804-1874), was a son of R. Tzvi Elimelech Schapiro of Dinov (Bnei Yisoschar). Primarily a disciple of his father, he served as Rebbe in Dinov and was greatly respected by the great Rebbes of his era. Father of R. Naftoli Hertz of Dinov, R. Tzvi Elimelech of Bluzhev (Tzvi L’Tzaddik) and R. Meir Yehuda of Bikovsk.
