12pc NASA Apollo Mission Memorabilia

The badges and envelop commemorate the Apollo 13 mission. Apollo 13 was the seventh crewed mission during the Apollo program and the third meant to land on the Moon. The mission was launched from Kennedy Space Center in Florida on April 11, 1970, but the lunar landing was aborted after an oxygen tank in the service module failed two days into the mission. The Apollo 13 crew instead looped around the Moon and returned safely to Earth on April 17, 1970. The incident was adapted into the hit movie Apollo 13 in 1995, starring Tom Hanks.  Glasses: 3.25in x 3in. Can badge: 2in. Badge: 4in x 2.5in. Envelope: 6.75in x 3.5in.
