Small picture plate Psyche at the Sea
probably after a painting by Wilhelm Kray (1828-1889), c. 1900, unsigned and unmarked, embossing number 107, rectangular porcelain plate with rounded edges and fine polychrome painting, on a high rocky bank beside a rose bush pondering a young woman with wings and drapery as a semi-nude, depicting the mythological king's daughter Psyche, Cupid's beloved, framed in old gold moulding, remnants of old mounting on the reverse, otherwise good condition, dimensions plate 14.5 x 10 cm.
