A Largest Early Breast Form Taino Tri-Stone
An extremely large , classical early type breast form three pointer or tri-stone , a singularly Taino form of lost "religious" purpose, the duality as cahoba (hallucinogenic) grinding mortar, its cupped and course, peck carved underside remains obvious. Here, in this largest of all in private collections.The form, a woman's breast, retaining its approximately 1100 years old, original poished surface, the stone strongly compact and heavy. Very large and dramatic. In fine condition. 9"H 9"W and 3 3/4" thick across the middle of the arched up underside. From our octogenarian consignor sourse. His Taino obtained 52 to 34 years back. All Taino from him are guaranteed and will be identified as this source.
