Large Portuguese silver sectional salver, 19/20th century. Decoration with flowers, windings, shells, masks and plant motifs. Elevated center with engraved coat of arms of the Viscount of Pernes, namely, Veira, (...), Bon de Sousa, and Costa Macedo. With an Oporto hallmark (Javali II), of 833 thousandths, and a João Joaquim Monteiro maker’s mark (1887-1949). Back with hanging loop. Cracks, defects and wear.
