Doppelwappenkrug Wehrwirtschaftsführer Walter Borbet, Corps Borussia Clausthal / Corps Franconia Karlsruhe, 1905, Studentika, Deckelschoppen, 0,3 Liter, leicht konischer Korpus aus Kristallglas, Sternschliff im Boden, facettierte Wandung, montierter Zinndeckel mit Adlerdrücker, in den Deckel gefasst eine Porzellanplatte, außen äußerst fein bemalt mit dem Doppelwappen der Corps Borussia Chlausthal / Franconia Karlsruhe, innen die Widmung: Walter Borbet Borussiae (xx), Franconiae (x) s/l. W. Brucks Franconiae (xxx) z. frdl. Erg. S.S. 1903, Malermarke Joh. Stüber Karlsruhe.; Borbet wird 1881 in Schalke geboren, studiert Eisenhüttenwesen und Maschinenbau in Aachen, wird dort zunächst beim Corps Borussia, das später nach Clausthal verlegt, aktiv, danach auch in Karlsruhe, wo das Band von Corps Franconia aufnimmt, nach Studienabschluss zunächst Vorstand des Bochumer Vereins, geht bereits 1925 heimlichen Rüstungsplänen nach, ab 1930 Vorstandsvorsitzender der Ruhrstahl AG, die Ernennung zum Wehrwirtschaftsführer erfolgt 1937, kommt 1942 unter ungeklärten Umständen zu Tode.
