The saying Symbol wird Waffe (symbol becomes a weapon) refers to a material donation for the Wehrmacht. Warrior clubs gave their historic flag tips as a metal donation and received a new plastic tip in return.

Fahnenspitze NS Reichskriegerbund, Deutschland 1940
Kunststoff gegossen, bronzefarben gefasst, die Spitze als Dolch im Eichenlaubkranz gearbeitet, auf den Seiten ein Eisernes Kreuz mit der Jahreszahl 1940 und HK bzw. ein Medaillon mit HK und der Inschrift: SYMBOL WIRD WAFFE, der Dolchgriff fest als Tülle für die Fahnenstange gearbeitet, altersgemäß gute Erhaltung, H. 25 cm
Der Spruch Symbol wird Waffe bezieht sich auf eine Materialspende für die Wehrmacht. Kriegervereine gaben ihre historischen Fahnenspitzen als Metallspende und erhielten im Gegenzug eine neue Spitze aus Kunststoff.
