רבי שלמה במברגר [תקצ"ה-תרע"ח], בנו של "הרב מוירצבורג", כיהן ברבנות בערים לנגנאו ואנדינגן שבשווייץ, ובנידרהנגנטל וזנהיים שבאלזס. גאון, מקובל וצדיק מופלא. חיבר סדרת ספרים בשם "לימוד ערוך" על כמה מסכתות, המבארים מלים ומושגים שמפוזרים בספר הערוך, וכן חיבר ספר בשם "הגיון שלמה" על ספר הערוך.
