Sefer Tanya, Cremona 1565.
A complete copy of Sefer Tanya, printed in Cremona in 1565. Sefer Tanya, also known as “Tanya Rabasi”, was written in 13th century Italy and was seemingly authored by R. Yechiel b. Yekusiel Rofeh, a member of the illustrious Anav family of Italy.
Sefer Tanya contains the laws and customs of various practices done throughout the year, divided into one hundred chapters. Most are under the assumption that this is an abridged version of “Shibolei HaLeket”; Some however maintain that there is no factual basis for this assumption. For further clarification See R. In overall very good condition. Ancient ownership inscriptions seen on title page. Light dampstsining to final 3 leaves. Open tear seen on top corner of final leaf, with loss of text.
