Prussian Blackened Wartime 'Kriegs' Sword
Known as Prussian Kriegs sword with blackened hilt - a method of subduing the metal and finish with a black painted guard and grip (missing applique to grip) but retaining ray skin with wire over. Probably patterned after a M1889 Dress Prussian Cavalry sword. Blade marked (WK & C). With original blackened scabbard. Size 36" L, blade 27" L
Condition: Cracked on handle.
