A selection of Five (5) Japanese woodblock print books from the Showa period or earlier will be presented. These books are from the Ethel Traphagen (1882-1963) Collection. Ethel Traphagen was the founder of the Traphagen School of Fashion (1923-1991).

This is a no-reserve auction and items can be shipped worldwide.

22 Sheets, mostly Mulberry paper sheets. There are multiple block prints per page and a page of Japanese text.  The book measures approximately 7 inches by 9 1/2 inches. All pages are detached from the cover.   All are done in black ink.  There are edge tears, some staining, and chipping.
