A well-detailed and large Vienna cold-painted bronze figure of an oriental merchant. The figure seated in a tent-like structure, surrounded by objects. The item was used as a lamp in the past. Stamped on the bottom with a number, "Real Vienna bronze" and "made in Austria"; on the reverse with "Gesch" (for "Geschützt") and the Bergman mark (B in vase), see photos. Bronze in good condition; lamp not working. 46x20x10cm
