The rare literary almanac Klitsch was published at the height of the First world war for charitable purposes. The almanac, which published the works of poets and famous literary figures of the Silver age, became a call to the intelligentsia of Russia to help all those affected by the hardships of the war. It included literary and artistic works of famous Russian artists, poets, writers, and composers who provided their works free of charge: Y. Baltrushaitis, L. N. Andreev, K. D. Balmont, A. A. Blok, V. ya. Bryusov, V. V. Veresaev, and I. A. Bunin. The collection includes poetry by V. A. Gilyarovsky, S. Glagol, V. Ivanov, A. F. Koni, S. Mamontov, M. M. Prishvin, I. S. Shmelev, T. L. Shchepkina-Kupernik. The event was attended by Russian composers: S. Rachmaninoff, A. Glazunov, M. Ippolitov-Ivanov, A. Grechaninov, A. Scriabin. Almost all the works reflect the theme of war. The collection is illustrated with reproductions both in the text and on separate sheets from paintings by V. M. Vasnetsov, I. E. Repin, AP. m. Vasnetsov, V. D. Polenov, M. V. Nesterov, L. O. Pasternak, S. A. Vinogradov, V. V. perebelchikov. Mezzo-Tinto drawings and two chromolithographs were printed in the workshops of t-VA A. A. Levenson, three chromolithographs in the workshops of t-VA I. D. Sytin, one chromolithography in the printing house I. N. Kushnerev, notes in the notoprinter P. I. Jurgenson. Luxurious cover and the title of the artist Georgy Pashkov. The illustrative Department is particularly valuable. these are the only publications of artists ' works, the location of most of which is unknown today.
