SCARCE RUSSIAN IMPERIAL REGIMENTAL BADGE of the COMPOSITE INFANTRY REGIMENT, 1883
Officially approved on the 3d of July, 1883. Badge is composed of silvering brass band with the inscription "His Own Imperial Majesty Consolidated Infantry" and heraldic shield with St. Andrew's star placed in the center.
This regiments was created for security of the Emperor's Alexander III after assassination of his father Alexander II. This badge can be regarded as an award as per Decree of 1907 that stated "for honorable service in His Own Imperial Majesty's Consolidated Infantry Regiment".
