JONGKIND JOHAN BARTHOLD (1819-1891)
Autograph letters. 1 letter, JOINT 3 long incomplete letters. Written in French. Different sizes, the biggest: 21.2x13.5cm 1) Autograph Letter, Dordrecht, 29th August 1869. Most probably to his friend Pierre- Firmin Martin (1817-1891). “My dear Martin, here I am again back in my native country. I have been very late in leaving Paris because I was constantly struggling ...”. Johan Barthold Jongkind (1819-1891) Dutch painter, watercolourist and engraver, considered to be one of the precursors of Impressionism.
