Law Book of Secret Society "Bnei Israel" - Jerusalem, 1897. Printed in a limited edition, very rare. Includes a hand-filled form with the signatures of the society's president and secretary. Bnei Israel was a secret society with branches in Jaffa, Jerusalem and Hebron. Its members never revealed its purposes, but their actions indicate the main goal was to thwart attempts by Christian missionaries to convert Yishuv members. The booklet stipulates the society's rules. 19X12 cm. Good condition (cover not original, some loose pages).
