Partially autographed manuscript of Halachic rulings, Torah thoughts and explanations by Rabbi David Friedman of Karlin.
Majority of the pamphlet is handwritten by Rabbi Noach Gottlieb, author of Ohalei Shem and loyal follower of Rabbi David, with added pages and many marginal comments handwritten by Rabbi David Karliner himself.
Rabbi David Friedman (1827 - 1914), also known as Rabbi David Karliner, was a revered Torah scholar and was considered the Gadol Hador by the great rabbinical leaders of his time. He served as the Rabbi of Karlin for about fifty years.
