Attached to the handwriting is an authentication from the family confirming the handwriting as that of Rabbi Abuchatzeira's.
Rabbi Yaakov Abuchatzeira (1806 - 1880), also known as the Abir Yaakov, was a world renowned kabbalist known for his tremendous piety and righteousness. He was a rabbinical leader in Tafillalt and served as the posek of all provinces of Morocco.
