Nabokov-Sirin’s novel Glory is, without doubt, one of the most accomplished, poetical, profoundly noble and profoundly Russian novels he ever wrote. Now we can con dently assert that only three other novels - Luzhin’s Defence, The Gift, and Speak, Memory - can rival with Glory in terms of artictic and lyrical might.
