Letter written on typewriter on official letterhead, signed by the Rebbe. From erev sukkot 1964. To Rav Alexander Sander Yodasin, an important rabbi of Chabad in Israel who wrote books on the Shas and the Tanya, with appreciation for the condolences that Rav Yodasin sent him upon the Rebbetzin’s mother’s death. The letter was written just before they ended shiva for the start of the holiday. In the margins, after his signature, the Rebbe adds a number of lines showcasing his wide knowledge of Torah, on the subject of resurrection of the dead.
