A Meissen porcelain grouping featuring bed and young wife at breakfast, the old husband sits on the bed reading a love letter, but the dog’s barking draws his attention to what is under the bed, and he discovers the young lover, whilst at the same time, his wife pushes him off the bed with her foot, from under the cushions, cupid peeks out at the wife, in his hands, bow and arrow, porcelain, polychrome group, Meissen, blue sword mark with dash, 2nd half of 19th cen.
