של ארץ הקודש.
החברה לארכיאולוגיה מקראית , לונדון, 1884
קדש ברנע הייתה עיר מקראית, ממנה שלח משה את המרגלים לתור את ארץ כנען. היא אחת מנקודות הגבול הדרומי של ארץ ישראל, אך מקומה המדויק לא ידוע.
לפי התנ"ך היא נמצאת במדבר פארן:
"וַיִּשְׁלַח אֹתָם מֹשֶׁה מִמִּדְבַּר פָּארָן...וַיֵּלְכוּ וַיָּבֹאוּ אֶל מֹשֶׁה וְאֶל אַהֲרֹן וְאֶל כָּל עֲדַת בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל, אֶל מִדְבַּר פָּארָן--קָדֵשָׁה..."
