Starye gody (old years) was a magazine published in 1907-1916 by the Circle of lovers of Russian fine publications in Saint Petersburg. The publisher was Peter Petrovich Weiner (1879-1931). Another founder, Vasily Andreevich Vereshchagin (1859-1931), became the editor-in-chief. The magazine published materials on the history of Russian art, gave descriptions of private and public collections, informed about auctions and private sales of works of art in Russia and abroad, indicating paintings and prices, and introduced the activities of museums. The magazine paid much attention to the problems of preserving Russian art and antiquities. Among the magazine's employees were G. K. Lukomsky, P. p. Muratov, N. K. Roerich, I. E. Grabar, V. Ya. Kurbatov, P. N. Stolpyansky, A. N. Kube, S. R. Ernst, V. ya. Adaryukov, I. E. Bondarenko and others. A total of 120 issues of the magazine were published, with 90 covers. Every year, in the fall, when the summer holidays ended, a revised issue of the magazine was published — for July-September. Indisputable merit of the magazine before domestic culture has resulted in the award of the Imperial Academy of Sciences edition of "Old age" in p. P. Weiner gold medal named after A. S. Pushkin. This happened on March 15, 1911, after the first four years of publication of the magazine.
