Photo report on the campaign of Baibakov O. V., Efimov N. I. and Lavrov V. V. on the route "Nalchik-Rtsyvashki Pass - Shtulu Pass-Karaugomsky glacier-Grudzi - Vtsek-Gagra Pass", held in the summer of 1962.
The goal of the campaign was the Karaugom glacier.
[Karaugom (oset. KӕRугUgomy ts'iti) is a glacier in the Irafsky district of North Ossetia on the territory of the Federal State Budgetary Institution "Alania National Park". Natural monument. The largest glacier in the Digor Gorge and the second largest in the Caucasus. Currently, its length is 12.27 km and its area is 20.55 km2.]
