After the revolution of 1905, in the wake of democratization, Malevanny left the psychiatric hospital and became a writer-preacher.

His "Greeting to the Russian People" is a harsh mixture of nationalism, pan-Slavism and mysticism. The book was banned in 1907, its distribution was threatened with a term, copies were subject to destruction. the book is very rare.

[The Malevans are a group of spiritual Christians, a movement in Baptism that emerged in the Russian Empire in the late 80s of the XIX century and is spread mainly in the Kiev, Kherson and Minsk provinces. The current has emerged from shtundo-Baptism, but, despite its rationalistic character, it has acquired clear mystical features, and in this respect it approaches the whips. It got its name after the founder and head Kondratiy Alekseevich Malevannyj.

Kondraty Malevanny was arrested, after which in April 1893 he was taken to Kiev, to the Kirillovsky house of the insane, where the psychiatrist Ivan Alekseevich Sikorsky (father of the famous aviator Igor Sikorsky), he was declared mentally ill, and on September 14 of the same year, to exclude communication with his followers, he was transferred to the Kazan House of the Insane, where he was kept until August 1905.

After placing Malevanny in a hospital for the insane, Ivan Lysenko, a peasant of the Skvirsky district, became the head of the sectarians, who in turn declared himself Christ, the Son of Bonkini, and God the Father, who appeared in the flesh After leaving the hospital, returned to Tarascha, where he lived until his death on February 21, 1913.

After his death, he left an autobiography, "The Life Story of K. Malevanny", as well as numerous "Messages". Since Kondraty Malevanny himself was illiterate, his son-in-law, also a member of the sect, wrote down the texts for him. After the conclusion of Malevannogo in a home for the insane, the Malevantsev current continued to spread in the Kiev, as well as in the Kherson and Minsk provinces, spread to Siberia and even reached the Irkutsk province. The Malevants (Tolstoy-Malevants) living in the vicinity of Kiev remained true to the views of the founder of the current even after his death. In the 60s of the 20th century, Malevans were massively subjected to exile and persecution for denying the state. Young people were jailed for refusing to take up arms. Currently, the current has a certain number of followers in Ukraine (Kiev and Zhytomyr regions), as well as in Russia (Tula region).]
