Shlomo Zippman (1905-1993), The Holocaust of European Jewry: A painting divided into three scenes: Jews being led by Nazi soldiers in columns to the ghetto, crematoria and partisans in the forest, oil on plywood, 2 flaws at the top of the painting, signed, dimensions: 110X50 cm. Shlomo Zippman, born in Lithuania in 1905, immigrated to Israel in 1912, returned to Russia in 1914 and returned to Israel in 1921. He was an important Zionist activist, one of the founders of Ir Ganim (Ramat Gan), a member of Kibbutz Merhavia, Mond and Ramat Gan. Later, he held other public positions. He was a writer and painter and held a number of exhibitions over the years of his works.
