Rare letter sent by the pious Rebbetzin Mrs. Bracha Sheindel Perlov to her Tzaddik son Rabbi Yaakov Chaim of Detroit and to her pious daughter-in-law, with an addition on some lines by her father-in-law the Admor Rabbi Avraham Yaakov of Gvodzitz. Ca. 1935.

Extremely rare letter handwritten by the pious Rebbetzin to her son, who was then living far away in Brooklyn before opening his court in Detroit, with her warm greetings. She asks him to continue informing her in writing about their wellbeing. The Rebbetzin Mrs. Bracha Sheindel says that Hanukkah was peaceful and may we merit next year in Jerusalem. She updates about her other sons 'your brothers Boruch Hashem are alive and well.
The letter also contains regards from her pious daughter Mrs. Miriam, the wife of the Tzaddik Rav Rabbi Avraham Yaakov Shapiro of Gvodzitz, who writes to her sister-in-law how happy they were to hear that everyone abroad is feeling well. There is also an adiition handwritten by the Admor of Gvodzitz himself, the Tzaddik Rav Rabbi Avraham Yaakov, who signed "A.Y.S" and blesses them with Naches and all the best.

Postmark of Stolin. Its date is unclear. Seems 1934.

The pious Rebbetzin Mrs. Bracha Sheindel Perlov, the daughter of the holy Rav Rabbi David of Zlotipoli, the eldest son of the holy Rav Rabbi Yochanan of Rachmistrivka, the son-in-law of the holy Rav the Beis Aharon of Karlin.
The holy Rav Rabbi Yisroel of Stolin passed away in 1922, and the pious Rebbetzin continued to sit in his holy court, watching over the courts of her six sons and four sons-in-law: the holy Rav Rabbi Asher, the holy Rav Rabbi Aharon, the holy Rav Rabbi Yaakov Chaim, the holy Rav Rabbi Moshe, the holy Rav Rabbi Avraham Elimelech, the holy Rav Rabbi Yochanan. The Rebbetzin managed charity funds, sent messengers and dealt with many matters of the court. She was murdered by the Nazis in Elul 1942 with two of her sons, Rabbi Asher and Rabbi Moshe of Stolin.
Her pious daughter Mrs. Miriam the wife of the Holy Rav Rabbi Avraham Yaakov Shapiro of Gvodzitz the son of the holy Rav Rabbi Yitzchak Mordechai the son of the Holy Rav Rabbi Aviezri Zelig and the granson of the Saraf of Moglanitza. Rabbi Yitzchak Mordechai was the grandson of the holy Rav Rabbi Avraham Yaakov of Sadigura and himself the son-in-law of the holy Rav Rabbi Yisroel of Sadigura. They all perished in the holocaust with almost the entire family of the Yanuka and the Rebbetzin Mrs. Bracha Sheindel.
