Large Signed Autograph, Responsum on Hilchot Yoreh Deah and the Kashrus of Matzot Mitzvah By Rabbeinu the Gaon Rabbi Shlomo Eiger

Basic responsum on Hilchot Yoreh Deah, approx. 50 lines, handwritten by the Gaon Rabbi Shlomo Eiger, the son and successor of the Gaon Rabbi Akiva Eiger, on the Kashrus of Matzot Mitzvah and their supervision and other matters of Yoreh Deah.

The responsum was printed with variations, mistakes and omission of some lines in Teshuvot Rabbi Shlomo Eiger Siman 19 Yoreh Deah.

Among others, he writes sharply against bakeries of Matzot Mitzvah which work their employees day and night, leading to a Pgam in the Kashruth of the Matzot.
' א' - שיהיו ב' משגיחים א' אצל התנור וא' אצל הלישה וגלגול, ב' - שלא נבחרו המשגיחים מהאופים כי אם מהרב אב"ד..
The entire responsum deals with matters of Basar Bechalav.
On the leaf, autographic corrections by Rabbi Shlomo Eiger.

With Rabbi Shlomo Eiger' ssignature, numbered at its end with N174-611.
