Clement VIII's Vulgate edition of the Bible and New Testament, including scrolls and psalms. The Vulgate is the most important translation of the Christian scriptures, the Biblia, into Latin. It includes the Old Testament according to the Catholic canon, with writings considered by the Jews to be among the outer books. This edition includes many engravings and parchment binding.
Latin, 964 pp. + index, 22X15 cm. Reasonable condition: signs of worming, general wear, tears in the cover.
