Raad (1854-1957) was a Syrian-Lebanese Christian photographer who lived part of his life in the Land of Israel and is known for the photographs he took here at the end of the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th century. The book includes a beautiful selection of his photographs, in excellent printing quality, as well as texts about his life and work.
