This work was published by Rabbi Refael Aharon ben Shimon, Av Beis Din of Egypt, who founded the Dovevei Siftei Yeshenim Society with the goal of publishing important manuscripts authored by the Jewish sages of Morocco. The sefer features a long preface by Rabbi Refael Aharon regarding the establishment of his society.
This halachic work contains over 550 responsa and presents a wondrous glimpse into the lives of late 19th century Moroccan Jews and the spiritual legacy of their leaders.
