Excellent and unique porcelain vase with SS and runic motifs with dedicatory on the bottom for the birthday of the SS Obergruppenführer Gottlob Berger, a very important SS member who was responsible for the creation of the Waffen SS and took part in the Munich Putsch of 1923. Pot has SS runes and the rune Tyr, that represents for the Nazis the leadership during battle. Also there are oakleaves alternated. Excellent manufacture of the maker H&Co. Selb Bavaria - Heinrich as we can see for its stamp in green on the bottom of the vase, size 28cm x13cm . No chipr or cracks to the porcelain.Gottlob Christian Berger (16 July 1896 – 5 January 1975) was a senior German Nazi official who held the rank of SS-Obergruppenführer und General der Waffen-SS (lieutenant general) and was the chief of the SS Main Office responsible for Schutzstaffel (SS) recruiting during World War II. At the post-war Nuremberg trials, the Waffen-SS – within which Berger was a senior officer – was declared to be a criminal organisation due to its major involvement in war crimes and crimes against humanity.
