German military propaganda leaflet from World War II. Addressed to Russian soldiers on the Eastern Front. It contains the following text: Comrade Red Army! Go to the German side! If you are hungry, you will be fed. If you are injured, German doctors will give you first aid. Stupid political officers advise you to change into civilian clothes if you detach from your unit. Be warned! A plainclothes soldier is not a soldier but a bandit. Political officers lie that the Germans send prisoners to backbreaking labour. It's a lie. The Germans always treat prisoners well. Political officers tell you to destroy everything during the retreat. By destroying everything, you won't hurt the German army, but you will bring hunger to your family. Take care of the national good, go to the German side!
