Well-known Swiss landscape painter, also central secretary of the Swiss Society of Artists. Uncle of Max Bill. Attribution and dating stylistically and based on other signed works by Geiger from the same consignor.
Oil on cardboard. Impression of a farm, probably near Ulm, with turrets in the background. In front farmer's wife and chickens. Dynamic brushstroke, beautiful lighting. Unsigned. Framed. Good condition, corresponding to the age. Overall dimensions H. 32cm, w. 26cm.

Bekannter Schweizer Landschaftsmaler, auch Zentralsekretär der Schweizerischen Künstlergesellschaft. Onkel von Max Bill. Zuschreibung und Datierung stilistisch und aufgrund weiterer, signierter Werke Geigers vom selben Einlieferer.
Öl auf Karton. Impression eines Bauernhofs, wohl bei Ulm, mit Türmchen im Hintergrund. Vorn Bäuerin und Hühner. Dynamischer Pinselstrich, schöne Lichtführung. Unsigniert. Gerahmt. Guter, dem Alter entsprechender Zustand. Gesamtmaße H. 32cm, B. 26cm.
