Reservist whistle Kingdom of Bavaria - 1895-97
Large reservist pipe, wood with horn and deer antlers. Intact porcelain pipe bowl with pickelhaube as lid, front with depiction of Prince Regent Luitpold of Bavaria in a laurel wreath in relief. The back inscribed "So ist der Dienst am schönsten / Zur Erinnerung an meine Dienstzeit 1895-97" with a depiction of a changing of the guard. Total length 120cm.
